Description

Traditional vengaya vadagam made from chopped small onions, urad dal, mustard seeds, fenugreek, garlic and curry leaves, rolled into balls and sun-dried for over a week. Crumble one into hot oil at the start of tempering and it lifts vatha kuzhambu, sambar, rasam and keerai with a deep, roasted aroma. Made in small batches near Rasipuram.
