Pavalam Polytechnic College opens admissions for weekend certificate courses

Pavalam Polytechnic College on Attur Road has opened admissions for its November batch of weekend certificate courses. Classes run on Saturdays and Sundays, so working young people and homemakers can join without leaving their jobs. Four three-month courses are offered: accounting with GST billing, office computer skills, spoken English and Python programming basics. Fees range from ₹2,500 to ₹4,500, and students from the town's government schools get a 20 per cent concession. Each batch is limited to 30 learners. Classes are held in the college's computer lab, and a course-completion certificate is issued after a final practical assessment. Application forms are available at the college office from 10 am to 4 pm on working days. Applicants should bring a copy of their highest mark sheet and two passport-size photographs.
