Description

A refreshing, gently sweet syrup made from green fennel (sombu) seeds slow-cooked with rock sugar and a hint of cardamom, with the natural pale olive colour of fennel. Stir two spoons into a glass of chilled water or buttermilk, add a few mint leaves and ice, and enjoy it after lunch on hot afternoons. Made in small batches without artificial colour.
