The town's main mosque, just off Bazaar Street, with a green central dome, twin minarets and an arched verandah. The five daily prayers are held through the day, and the Friday Jumu'ah congregational prayer begins at about 1:15 pm; exact prayer times follow the timetable displayed inside. Special prayers are held during Ramzan and for Eid-ul-Fitr and Bakrid. Visitors are welcome outside prayer times and are requested to dress modestly.
